Cosgroves Rimington was bustling with guests and customers for their Autumn / Winter Fashion Show on Friday 7th October.

Pink fizz on arrival and time to browse the new collections proceeded taking your seat for the fashion show with a surprise gift on every chair! Additionally, each guest was given a raffle ticket and Mrs Rigby won a voucher for £150 to spend on anything in store.

The fashion show started and three models showcased a cross section of key fashion trends across many brands and collections throughout the store.

A key point was colour – a nice surprise to the ever present black. Gerry Weber and Faber presented duck egg blue and frozen aqua shades for a relaxed weekend feel, showing a staple item the poncho with fringing to give an extra layer of glamour and warmth when teamed with up market jeggings or needlecord jeans. Bianca showed mustard as a highlight to charcoal grey with an elegant long line knitted jacket, unlined for layering and the transition between the seasons. Mulberry shades by Gerry Weber proved a flattering colour alternative and drew lots of admiration. Fossil handbags, clutches, scarves and Virtue jewellery complemented the looks.

Masai is new to Cosgroves this season offering a versatile and relaxed range of tunics, leggings, dresses and knits in raspberry and black amongst other colourways. Equally, Geox jackets are new in store; each one technology graded with different properties for levels of shower/waterproof protection. There is a vast selection of coats to view from boxy boyfriend style, padded ski and snow, macs, wraps and elegant full length.

The show concluded with evening glamour as the excitement of the season builds towards Christmas.

Diary date our next event on Thursday 20th October – a Joseph Ribkoff Personal Shopping Experience!
